About Us:
We are a small family farm located just north of Platteville, CO. In our family we have Rodney, Tanya, Michael, Tanya's mom Sherry, several dogs and cats and of course the horses.
Rodney and I met in high school and have been friends since (going on 23+ yrs now), we were married in May of 2003, Rodney has been a great support of my "horse" habit both at home and at the horse shows. Michael was born in Nov of 2006 and has been a source of both entertainment and a lesson in patience.
The other real intergral part of the operation is my mother Sherry, she has been my supporter and cheering section forever.
Her and I both enjoy doing the horse thing, we have had a small breeding program for about 10 yrs, we have taken a couple of years off but are getting ready to start again with some great prospects. Using the combination of frozen semen from top German WB stallions and great TB mares we are going to produce some pretty, athletic babies that will be both "keepers" and sale horses. Look for those new prospects in the future, I will dedicate a page to those foals with photos of dam and sire. We have a few "homebreds" that are for sale, check the Horses For Sale page, also be sure to check out the homebreds we have sold in the past, most have updates on what they are doing now.
The other area my mother and I enjoy is photography. I came by this via her and am very thankful. I have started a small photography business that I can only afford to do part time. I like taking photos at the horse shows but am really enjoying doing animal portriat work. Please check out the page of photos for more info.
Michael has become a major part of our life and I have dedicated a page to him, you will find photos of our little guy both past and present, boy do they grow fast. He likes horses but loves tractors.
I have been riding since about 6 months of age and hope to continue for many more years, I have started to gear back up (after having Michael) to start showing my horses again.
